Trade Days

Mom, Grammy, and I went to the Trade Days in Winnie this Saturday. My cousin, Dana, has a booth out there and mom wanted to get some Yellow Box flip-flops she has been wanting from her and just look around. I was looking for a bookcase for my room because I really need a place to store all my books! It was cold and rainy when we got there, but the rain stopped and the sun came out and it ended up being a beautiful day. It is one trade days after another for me lately :)

You have to get a Lemonade at Trade Days!

We ate chicken and sausage gumbo for lunch..it was really good! Can you believe this woman is 80 years old? I pray I got that gene and I look as good as her when I am that age!

We each had a mini pies for a snack....look at that meringue!

After Trade Days we went to eat dinner at Cheddar's and then to the movies to see Letters to God. I will be honest, the acting wasn't as good as it was in movies like Facing the Giants or The Love Dare, but the message was awesome! I was glad we went to see it. Grammy is a breast cancer survivor and she really liked the movie. At the end, when the credits are rolling they put up pictures of cancer survivors and tell a little bit about their story...I was crying like a baby!
