My passport came in the mail today! I am one step closer to going to the Philippines this summer. I am so excited to go on my first mission trip! This will be my pastor and his wife's 25th trip in 11 years. They have such a heart for this nation and it is contagious! Jerry and his wife Linda, from my church, went to the Phillipines for the first time last year and went again this past summer. Jerry told me the other day that when I go and come back I will never be the same. In fact his exact words were, "God is going to mess you up!" He knows because it happened to him. You can't go to a third world nation and come back the same. I am excited about that! I am excited for all God had planned for this trip!

One Step Closer
